Roof gardens. The new trend?

When I visited Ecobuild 2011 last week, there was one thing that really caught my attention. Among all the exhibitors and companies showing their "green" and "eco" products, the ones specialized in green roofs were a big bunch.

It always gets my attention when I have the opportunity to see pictures of these roofs, as this is a really interesting way of greening our cities and reduce our impact on the environment.

That is why I would like to share some of these with you.

  2. That's so beautiful! Perhaps if most of the buildings in the city had roof gardens, the view from on top would be more enjoyable. You could do stargazing while picking fruits, veggies and flowers. How sweet is that? :)
